Tasks :
- To learn the CRISPR-Cas9 genetic modification technique
- To use this technique to modify laboratory and wine yeasts to produce different interest compounds and study protein interactions
Deliverables (expected):
- Knowledge of the CRISPR-Cas9 technique for its development and implementation in our Wine Biotechnology research group at the Rovira i Virgily University.
- New scientific contacts to develop new projects and collaborations
- Seminars given in both institutions
